The world is being locked down and I am painting because that is the only thing not being taken away from me. They closed down the school, the workplace, the theatres, bars, shops, restaurants, swimming pools, and any public space they could name in their list of draconian measures. Even visiting other people is now against the law.

The headlines agree for the first time in a long time and everyone is equally lost. The fear is contagious.

I just hope I won’t get lost in my own company.
